Biography
Prof. Sanjay Banerjee is the current Head of the Department of Physics. His research spans statistical mechanics, soft matter, and biological physics. He received his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Cambridge. He has published over 150 papers and received the Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize.
